Using Resources¶
Accessing Resources¶
All resources are accessible through the TINAA HTTP API:
# Get resource index
curl http://localhost:8765/resources/index.json
# Get specific resource
curl http://localhost:8765/resources/tools/cli/install.json
# Get AI prompts
curl http://localhost:8765/resources/prompts/test-generator.json
Resource Structure¶
Each resource follows a consistent JSON structure:
{
"id": "unique-identifier",
"name": "Human-readable name",
"description": "What this resource does",
"type": "resource-type",
"version": "1.0.0",
"framework": "gofastmcp.com v2.8.0",
"content": {
// Resource-specific content
}
}
Integration Examples¶
Using CLI Tools¶
import requests
# Get Playwright installer resource
installer = requests.get("http://localhost:8765/resources/tools/cli/install.json").json()
# Execute installation commands
for command in installer["content"]["commands"]:
subprocess.run(command, shell=True)
Using Test Execution Prompts¶
# Get test generator prompt
prompt_resource = requests.get("http://localhost:8765/resources/prompts/test-generator.json").json()
# Use with AI to generate tests
test_prompt = prompt_resource["content"]["prompts"]["generate_from_requirements"]
# Feed to AI with your requirements
Using Examples as Templates¶
# Get login example
login_example = requests.get("http://localhost:8765/resources/examples/login/standard-login.json").json()
# Use as template for your login tests
test_template = login_example["content"]["test_patterns"]["standard_login"]
Resource Development¶
Adding New Resources¶
- Create the resource JSON file in the appropriate category directory
- Follow the standard resource structure
- Add entry to
/resources/index.json
- Update category documentation
Resource Guidelines¶
- Consistency: Follow established naming conventions
- Documentation: Include clear descriptions and examples
- Versioning: Use semantic versioning for resources
- Testing: Validate resources before inclusion
Resource Metadata¶
Framework Compliance¶
